Description

  • Build and maintain secure, scalable full-stack web applications with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node, and PostgreSQL on Supabase.
  • Own features end-to-end from the user interface through the database layer.
  • Design and implement business logic close to the data using Postgres functions, views, triggers, Row-Level Security, and Supabase Edge Functions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and agent frameworks to scaffold, refactor, and automate engineering work.
  • Embed application security practices across coding, dependency management, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn customer problems into intuitive product features.
  • Design and optimize API contracts, edge endpoints, and event flows with performance, resiliency, and multi-region scaling in mind.
  • Model and optimize PostgreSQL data for large multi-tenant workloads, including indexing, query performance, and partitioning.
  • Support automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, database migrations, and vulnerability scanning across the development lifecycle.
  • Provide code reviews, mentorship, and guidance to raise engineering quality and security standards.

Requirements

  • Senior full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production web apps.
  • Experience with Next.js/React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and a Node-based backend.
  • Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Devin.
  • Strong backend and data modeling skills in PostgreSQL; Supabase experience with Auth, RLS, Edge Functions, and migrations is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of secure web application development, authentication/authorization, and modern security best practices.
  • Familiarity with software supply chain security, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud, ideally AWS.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and modern managed or serverless platforms.
  • Product-minded, collaborative approach with strong communication skills in a remote, cross-functional team.
  • Experience with Redis, Kubernetes, Python, or modern agent frameworks is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $227,000-$270,000 for Tier 1 locations (San Francisco, New York, Seattle) or $181,000-$216,000 for all other locations.
  • Role is eligible for equity in addition to base pay.
