Description

  • Architect and build the backend infrastructure for a scalable forms engine serving multiple legal verticals.
  • Implement AI-first workflows, including auto-mapping models and evaluation harnesses for PDF-to-digital form conversion.
  • Lead technical migration of data and logic from the legacy platform while ensuring zero data loss and compliance.
  • Build a platform that is e-filing ready and able to handle high-volume, concurrent enterprise and government usage.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Serve as a technical knowledge bridge and act as an owner of the new platform during the transition period.
  • Collaborate with SREs to develop CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and automated diff/repair mechanisms.
  • Work directly with the Lead Architect on system design, architecture decisions, and implementation strategy.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5+ years in backend development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong mastery of C# and .NET 8.0+.
  • Additional proficiency in Node.js or Python is highly valued.
  • Competency with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Svelte.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management and technical updates.
  • Experience with GraphQL is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices is preferred.
  • Experience building high-availability applications and performing advanced performance optimization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Filevine’s specific tech stack is preferred.
