Description

  • Facilitate Zoom deposition sessions with professionalism and warmth.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues for participants, including audio and screen sharing problems.
  • Help ensure transcript quality by maintaining optimal audio conditions for transcription software.
  • Administer oaths and manage on-the-record and off-the-record moments during proceedings.
  • Handle procedural steps that support a smooth legal process.
  • Work from provided scripts and procedural forms accurately and on time.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a composed, professional presence throughout each proceeding.

Requirements

  • Active Notary Public license in the state of New Mexico.
  • Remote Online Notarization (RON) Certification from the New Mexico Secretary of State, required before the start date.
  • Must be physically located within the State of New Mexico while performing all remote notarial acts.
  • Strong internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Video-enabled computer with necessary software capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to generally accommodate standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing software.
  • Experience in the legal industry is a plus.
