Description

  • Capture depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings as a certified stenographic reporter.
  • Produce accurate, verbatim transcripts that meet Texas court reporting standards.
  • Use CAT software and digital audio tools to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts.
  • Build and maintain relationships within Texas court reporting organizations, chapters, and regional communities.
  • Attend industry conferences and summits to support talent engagement and brand visibility.
  • Develop staffing and coverage models to ensure proceedings are properly resourced.
  • Oversee court reporter recruitment and staffing operations.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements across reporting operations.
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, compliance, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Travel to in-person depositions across Texas as needed.

Requirements

  • Current Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license required.
  • Deep knowledge of Texas procedural rules, legal terminology, and transcript formatting standards.
  • Significant court reporting experience with supervisory or leadership responsibility.
  • Proficiency with CAT software such as Case CATalyst or Eclipse.
  • Experience with digital audio review tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across live proceedings, remote work, and operational oversight.
  • Willingness to travel to in-person depositions across Texas.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Commitment to professional and ethical standards.
  • Experience in a licensed Texas court reporting firm is preferred.
