Description

  • Own the health, reliability, and performance of Feeld’s monetisation funnel and related backend systems.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for subscriptions, billing, entitlements, pricing logic, and promotional mechanics.
  • Operate and monitor revenue-critical systems to minimise revenue-impacting incidents and reduce time-to-detection and resolution.
  • Instrument monetisation services for observability, analytics, and reporting in partnership with the Data team.
  • Enable faster experimentation by supporting feature flags, testing frameworks, and analytics instrumentation across monetisation flows.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and correctness across payment and subscription workflows in production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and non-technical partners to translate technical trade-offs into clear business insights.
  • Support cross-platform monetisation integration across iOS, Android, and web backends as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining backend services that handle high-throughput, business-critical workloads such as payments, subscriptions, or financial systems.
  • Comfortable working with databases, APIs, and ensuring data integrity and security in production environments.
  • Experience with subscription platforms, billing systems, or payment providers such as Adapty, Stripe, RevenueCat, or Apple/Google in-app purchase APIs (preferred).
  • Experience with analytics pipelines, experimentation frameworks, or feature-flagging systems to support data-driven product decisions (preferred).
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical cross-functional partners.
  • Systems-thinking approach balancing technical excellence with business impact and user experience.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical initiatives that improved reliability, performance, or developer experience (preferred).
  • Experience integrating mobile backends or supporting cross-platform monetisation flows across iOS, Android, and web (preferred).
