Description

  • Drive planning, scoping, and delivery of complex customer implementations.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for integration and custom implementation issues.
  • Debug deep integration problems and design robust client-specific solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery calls and translate ambiguous requirements into scoped stories.
  • Propose and influence architectural decisions for implementation approaches.
  • Represent the Forward Deployed Engineering function in product feedback and cross-functional alignment.
  • Create and own delivery playbooks, onboarding processes, internal training, and technical mentorship for junior FDEs.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Influence roadmap priorities through structured, data-driven feedback.
  • Write and debug production and integration code for customer implementations and internal tooling.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • Deep expertise across multiple product domains.
  • Ability to debug complex integrations and build custom solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for discovery sessions, expectation management, and presenting technical tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading other engineers.
  • Experience creating documentation, playbooks, and internal process improvements.
  • Cross-functional coordination and organizational leadership in delivery settings.
  • Ability to own multiple customer timelines concurrently.
  • Coding competency in SQL, JavaScript, and Python.
