Description

  • Drive visual design for end-to-end product experiences that are elegant, easy to use, and production ready.
  • Own assigned product features and user flows from high-level requirements through wireframes, designs, and prototypes in Figma.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver persona-first solutions within technical and business constraints.
  • Use user research, analytics, and customer feedback to iterate on designs and improve the user experience.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to automate repetitive tasks and rapidly prototype high-fidelity design explorations.
  • Use and contribute to the Extend Design System to maintain scalability and visual consistency across the platform.
  • Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing constructive feedback and helping raise the quality of the team’s work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in product design.
  • A portfolio showing shipped work in consumer or B2B software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, CS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong high-fidelity design skills, especially in typography, grid systems, and layout.
  • Experience translating complex requirements into polished, production-ready Figma files.
  • Ability to work within an established design system and identify opportunities to improve or expand it.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including auto-layout, components, and variables.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and React to support feasible handoffs.
  • Preferred experience designing merchant dashboards, checkout flows, or post-purchase experiences.
  • Preferred experience managing or evolving a shared component library in Figma.
  • Interest in fintech topics such as financial transactions, fraud prevention, or insurance tech.
