Description

  • Build proactive customer experience features that anticipate customer needs and reduce friction before issues arise.
  • Make critical trip information, such as flight details, schedule changes, and add-on excursions, clear and accessible across app, web, and communication channels.
  • Design systems that reduce uncertainty and increase customer trust through automation and improved user experience.
  • Help design and build AI-powered chatbots and voicebots to increase self-service and reduce manual support.
  • Automate inbound and outbound customer communications related to trip changes, including flights, hotels, and schedules.
  • Apply AI to classify, route, resolve, or fully automate customer interactions where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the team to refine problems before writing code and shape product decisions.
  • Use data to validate assumptions, measure impact, and continuously improve solutions.
  • Collaborate across backend, frontend, data, infrastructure, and AI to solve customer and business problems.
  • Contribute to architecture, product, and ways of working in a scale-up environment.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and comfort working through ambiguous problems.
  • Experience using AI tools effectively in daily work, including coding, debugging, designing, analyzing, and automating.
  • Product-oriented thinking with focus on why you are building something, not just how.
  • Comfort working across multiple technologies and learning new ones as needed.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, development, and integration best practices.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (EDA) and message-based communication between services.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control best practices, including GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Strong emphasis on testing, including unit and integration tests, plus a focus on code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Familiarity with observability practices such as logging, monitoring, and tracing in distributed systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Experience with PHP and/or C# or equivalent backend experience.
  • Experience with React and React Native.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and system design.
  • Experience with AI tools, LLMs, and automation workflows.
  • Data-informed decision making experience.
  • Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs with attention to performance and reliability.
