Description

  • Develop production-ready software for scalable robot applications based on the Intrinsic Platform.
  • Work closely with product management, platform development, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Scope technical solutions and analyze dependencies and needs before implementation.
  • Make architecture decisions that support long-term maintainability and stability.
  • Implement high-quality software using state-of-the-art tooling as part of an experienced engineering team.
  • Test software on real hardware and support customers when needed.
  • Ensure smooth handoff of feature releases to the Customer Success Team.
  • Participate in the full development journey from planning through development and testing.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical background in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
  • Professional work experience with Python and TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing user-facing web-based frontends and associated backends in robotics or industrial automation.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including setting technical direction and guiding development efforts to successful outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.
  • Proven track record developing and deploying frontend and backend production code for industrial robotics or automation solutions in manufacturing or production environments (preferred).
  • Good understanding of coordinate transforms, quaternions, and pose representations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with web-based 3D visualization (preferred).
  • Experience driving sustainable architecture decisions and using appropriate testing approaches (preferred).
  • Experience with Angular, Bazel, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers (preferred).
