Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable back-end systems aligned with business and technical requirements.
Write efficient, maintainable code in .NET using best practices such as test-driven development and continuous integration.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based services and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code review support to junior engineers.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve backend reliability and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers, to deliver software solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and codebases.
Implement and enforce security best practices to keep backend systems secure and compliant.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on back-end systems and .NET technologies.
Experience with full-stack development and front-end technologies such as React Native.
Proficiency in the latest .NET Core and C# programming language.
Strong experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage & Table, Azure App Services, Azure Service Bus, Azure KeyVault, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with API development.
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
Understanding of services architecture and distributed systems.
Healthcare software development experience and knowledge of standards such as X12 5010, HL7, NCPDP, or FHIR is a bonus.
Must live in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area or be willing to relocate.
Must be able to work weekdays 9-5 CST.
Must have a dedicated private work area and a high-speed internet connection for remote work.
