Description

  • Lead architectural design for backend microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed services, including Architecture Decision Records.
  • Design and build complex .NET Core/C# backend services for claims, eligibility, and benefits workflows.
  • Contribute to Node.js backend services as the platform evolves.
  • Lead Azure cloud infrastructure design, including messaging, serverless services, data modeling, API management, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Own healthcare data integrations using X12, HL7, FHIR, and NCPDP standards.
  • Ensure backend systems meet performance, reliability, security, regulatory, and production-readiness standards.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and establish .NET coding and testing standards.
  • Own CI/CD pipeline architecture and quality gates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of backend development experience with deep expertise in .NET Core/C# and/or Node.js.
  • Architecture-level experience with microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven design.
  • Expertise with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipeline design.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.
  • 10+ years of backend or full-stack development experience (preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare technology, such as health plans, EHRs, clearinghouses, or health IT (preferred).
  • Production experience with X12 5010, HL7 FHIR R4, or NCPDP transaction processing (preferred).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Bicep, or Terraform, and AI-assisted development tools (preferred).
  • Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone, maintain a private dedicated workspace and secure high-speed internet, and attend an in-person finalist interview in Dallas.
