Description

  • Analyze monthly financial and operational results, identify key variance drivers, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead analytical projects from inception to completion with minimal guidance to support strategic planning and decision making.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and rolling forecast activities.
  • Work across disciplines to understand business drivers and update assumptions independently.
  • Prepare recurring reporting packages for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Assist with SEC reporting, including quarterly MD&A preparation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Everbridge’s global business and the markets in which it operates.
  • Collaborate with business leaders across the company to provide financial insight into operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Analytics, or a related field plus 8 years of experience in a financial analyst role, or Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Analytics, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
  • Solid accounting capabilities.
  • Strong math, financial, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to create financial models and lead efforts to automate and build scalable financial processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, and logical and conditional functions.
  • Experience with hands-on data engineering for large data sets, including data cleaning, logical transformation, and governance.
  • Experience working directly with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Domo.

Benefits

  • Salary of $148,096 to $160,000 per year.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • 10% regional and national travel.
