Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve data pipelines.
  • Write code using Apache Spark on Azure Databricks.
  • Design and develop big data architectures using Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, BI, Databricks, and other Azure services.
  • Collaborate within development teams to deliver data engineering solutions.
  • Tune Spark queries and optimize performance for big data processing.
  • Analyze DAG operations to support pipeline and workflow efficiency.
  • Prepare cost estimates for big data processing.
  • Write and review architecture documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Thorough knowledge of Apache Spark.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong analytical skills with a team-oriented and quality-oriented mindset.
  • Keen to learn and excel.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Experience with Spark query tuning and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of DAG operations is preferred.
