Description

  • Design and implement batch processing pipelines using Spark and SQL.
  • Design and implement streaming ETL/ELT processes from diverse data sources.
  • Develop code for big data solutions and complete data integration or analytics use cases.
  • Design and implement APIs using a modern Python API framework.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysis teams to align technical delivery with business requirements.
  • Write end-to-end and functional tests using open-source tools.
  • Implement monitoring solutions for the data platform using alerts and dashboards.
  • Analyze large volumes of real-time and historical data to improve analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Thorough knowledge of Apache Spark.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python and databases.
  • Understanding of Azure Data Lake Storage and Delta Live Tables.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Strong analytical skills and a team- and quality-oriented mindset.
  • Keen to learn and grow as a data engineer.
  • Experience with Databricks (nice to have).
  • Experience in API development with FastAPI (nice to have).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (nice to have).
  • Experience with Docker (nice to have).
