Description

  • Quickly review and interpret information from a wide range of industries and countries.
  • Visit retail stores to collect product data such as pricing and availability.
  • Conduct secondary research using industry and company sources.
  • Carry out primary research through trade interviews, cold calling, and direct contact with companies and industry bodies.
  • Perform in-depth B2B market research, including industry analysis, competitor benchmarking, customer segmentation, and market trend analysis.
  • Collect, manipulate, and analyze large datasets in Excel to build market sizes and assess brand market shares.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative information to respond to client questions and support recommendations.
  • Support regional project managers in producing client-ready presentations, written analysis, and databases.
  • Review and consolidate the work of other remote analysts, including querying datasets, building estimates from interview notes, and translating market information into strategic recommendations.
  • Write reports in MS Word and PowerPoint in English.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to conduct interviews with industry players.
  • Sales or cold-calling experience is welcome.
  • Proven experience in B2B market research with understanding of the B2B buying process and decision-making frameworks.
  • Minimum availability of 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project.
  • Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in the local language, both spoken and written.
  • Strong tenacity in gathering information and keen attention to detail when comparing multiple sources.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and self-motivation skills.
  • High level of numeracy and ability to work with, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working remotely or on a project basis.
