Description

  • Lead strategic sourcing and vendor selection across Tech/SaaS, underwriting data, professional services, and marketing.
  • Serve as the lead negotiator for complex, high-value contracts, balancing cost, flexibility, service levels, and scalability.
  • Manage ongoing vendor relationships, including performance reviews and accountability to company standards.
  • Own the renewal calendar, prevent unwanted auto-renewals, and renegotiate terms to optimize spend.
  • Design and implement a streamlined procurement workflow that improves transparency and speed for internal teams.
  • Partner with Legal and Security to ensure vendors meet data privacy and security requirements.
  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Operations leadership to align vendor decisions with business needs.
  • Use spend analysis and financial modeling to identify trends, leaks, and consolidation opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
  • Experience in a high-growth Fintech, Insurtech, or SaaS environment, preferred.
  • Proven experience managing Technology/SaaS and third-party data spend categories, especially underwriting or financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and spend analysis tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present business cases to the C-suite.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in volume-based pricing and data licensing.
  • Understanding of modern technology stacks and the ability to work effectively with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Ability to navigate large enterprise vendors and agile early-stage startups.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $128,000 to $226,000 annually.
  • Eligibility for bonus, equity, and benefits in addition to base salary.
  • Remote work designation (#LI-Remote).
