Description

  • Concept and write scripts for video and TV campaigns, including :15 and :30 spots.
  • Create engaging scripts for YouTube, OTT, paid social, and other video platforms.
  • Develop UGC scripts and talking points for influencer and podcast host collaborations.
  • Review performance data and dashboards to identify what is working and optimize future creative.
  • Use consumer research and pain points to write persuasive copy with clear calls to action.
  • Lead direct response copy strategy, including copy frameworks, value proposition hierarchies, and messaging architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain a consistent brand voice across consumer touchpoints.
  • Adapt copy across channels such as paid social and email.
  • Brief new creative, stop underperforming work, and scale winning concepts based on insights.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of copywriting experience, with significant experience writing for video and TV.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong direct response principles, alongside brand-focused work.
  • Experience writing short-form video content for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort using performance dashboards to guide creative decisions.
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, subscription, or other non-physical product categories is a significant plus.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and comfort working in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell creative ideas to growth marketers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in both agency and client-side environments.
  • Understanding of direct response principles is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy, individual contributor role.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $127,000 to $223,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for bonus compensation.
  • Eligibility for equity compensation.
