Description

  • Implement and maintain the technical framework and guidelines for gameplay systems across the game.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and creative departments to support robust, reusable content.
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to determine the best approach for realizing the game’s shared vision.
  • Champion technical workflows and production pipelines across the studio.
  • Act as a technical expert and ensure the team has high-quality tools, documentation, and best practices.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the engine and auxiliary development tools.
  • Maintain strong system architecture with an emphasis on reuse and optimization.
  • Advocate for the technical design team in cross-department interactions.
  • Provide constructive, easy-to-understand feedback to team members across disciplines.
  • Analyze and deconstruct the work of others to improve design and implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience working cross-discipline in a collaborative development environment.
  • Excellent technical scripting skills, ideally using both visual and text-based scripting.
  • Self-motivation to solve creative problems and technical challenges.
  • Ability to analyze and deconstruct the work of others.
  • Good knowledge of game and level design principles.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as C++ (preferred).
  • Understanding of optimization and technical limitations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of network replication and its limitations (preferred).
