Description

  • Format and produce proposals, technical reports, work plans, resumes, forms, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Apply style guides, branding standards, accessibility requirements, and client formatting specifications.
  • Develop and manage complex Microsoft Word documents, including templates, styles, numbering, tables of contents, cross-references, headers, footers, and section breaks.
  • Create, import, and update tables, charts, figures, and organizational graphics.
  • Maintain version control, document integrity, electronic files, document libraries, and archives.
  • Assemble final deliverables and submission packages under tight deadlines.
  • Develop and remediate documents to meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Perform quality-control reviews of formatting, accessibility, branding, hyperlinks, bookmarks, tables, figures, and completeness.
  • Coordinate with proposal teams, editors, and technical staff across multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Recommend process improvements and production efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in document production, proposal production, or technical document support.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Microsoft Word.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality in deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Successful completion of a practical document production skills assessment.
  • Experience supporting environmental, engineering, scientific, professional services, or government contracting organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal procurement processes and proposal development preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, proposal libraries, or document management systems preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, PDF creation and remediation, fillable forms, and Section 508 compliance preferred.
