Description

  • Lead solution architecture and act as overall solution owner for large, complex, multi‑tower pursuits.
  • Partner closely with Sales to shape deals, influencing scope, structure, pricing approach, and value propositions.
  • Orchestrate cross‑functional teams across Sales, Consulting, Product, Finance, Legal, and Delivery to create and deliver winning solutions.
  • Lead and participate in client discovery and solutioning workshops to align outcomes to business goals and commercial realities.
  • Develop and present clear, compelling solution narratives and business cases to technical and executive audiences.
  • Build commercial constructs and pricing models for IT outsourcing, managed services, cloud, and transformation deals.
  • Participate in deal reviews and advise senior leadership on commercial viability, risk, and competitive positioning.
  • Drive post‑close transitions by supporting solution handoff, knowledge transfer, and deal documentation.
  • Create and evolve client‑facing collateral and solution assets, including developing new materials from scratch.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in an IT Outsourcing services provider and/or cloud‑managed services environment.
  • Prior experience in a pre‑sales Solution Architect or Solution Engineer role at a services provider or MSP.
  • Proven track record supporting or leading large, complex IT outsourcing, managed services, cloud, or transformation deals, including successfully closing 10+ deals of $50M+ TCV.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid solutions (preferred).
  • Broad technical knowledge across data center, hosting, hybrid cloud, compute, storage, network, security, EUC, BC/DR, DevOps, and IT governance.
  • Strong understanding of complex solution selling, including business, contractual, and financial considerations, and comfort with pricing models, multi‑year constructs, and deal economics.
  • Executive‑level communication skills with the ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders and present business cases.
  • Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and be calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% for client‑facing engagements and key pursuit phases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience; industry certifications and accreditations are a plus.

  • Base salary range $151,000–$205,000/year (full‑time) plus eligibility for a role‑based sales incentive plan and equity grant under the Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
