Description

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to clarify business needs and desired outcomes.
Analyze existing systems, workflows, integrations, and business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Support the design of scalable, maintainable, and loosely coupled solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
Evaluate the technical and business impact of proposed changes and modernization initiatives.
Analyze and validate data using SQL, Excel, Python, and reporting tools.
Create and maintain data mapping, transformation, and integration documentation.
Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.
Investigate issues, perform impact analysis, and support post-implementation stabilization and production support.

Requirements

6+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including business users, architects, developers, and QA teams.
Experience within the insurance and/or financial services industry is highly preferred.
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or equivalent cloud knowledge is highly preferred.
Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills for functional and non-functional requirements.
Experience with business process analysis, process modeling, and data modeling concepts.
Ability to write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases for data analysis and validation.
Working knowledge of Python for data validation and analysis.
Experience with data mapping, transformation documentation, ETL processes, and system integrations.
Ability to read and interpret system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
Basic understanding of GitHub or other version control systems.
Experience using Jira or similar Agile/project management tools.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and SDLC processes.
Understanding of secure data handling practices, including sensitive financial data and PII.
