Description

  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to clarify business needs and desired outcomes.
  • Analyze existing systems, workflows, integrations, and business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the design of scalable, maintainable, and loosely coupled solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Evaluate the technical and business impact of proposed changes and modernization initiatives.
  • Analyze and validate data using SQL, Excel, Python, and reporting tools.
  • Create and maintain data mapping, transformation, and integration documentation.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.
  • Investigate issues, perform impact analysis, and support post-implementation stabilization and production support.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including business users, architects, developers, and QA teams.
  • Experience within the insurance and/or financial services industry is highly preferred.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or equivalent cloud knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with business process analysis, process modeling, and data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases for data analysis and validation.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation documentation, ETL processes, and system integrations.
  • Ability to read and interpret system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Basic understanding of GitHub or other version control systems.
  • Experience using Jira or similar Agile/project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and SDLC processes.
  • Understanding of secure data handling practices, including sensitive financial data and PII.
