Description

  • Partner closely with Engineering leaders to understand objectives, challenges, and evolving talent needs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on organizational design, change management, and leadership development for technical teams.
  • Identify talent gaps and drive workforce planning to scale a world-class Engineering organization.
  • Use people analytics to identify trends, anticipate organizational issues, and inform strategic decisions for Engineering.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to senior tech leadership on org design, compensation, and career frameworks.
  • Collaborate with People Ops, Analytics, and People Enablement to strengthen reporting, ensure data integrity, and design technical talent development programs.
  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and building inclusive, high-performing engineering cultures.
  • Lead execution of core People programs within Engineering, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, and employee relations.
  • Act as first-line support for managers and employees to resolve issues and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive HR/People Business Partner experience, including at least 3 years supporting Tech organizations (Product, Engineering, Data) in high-growth environments.
  • Experience supporting C-suite leaders and building strong, trusted relationships with senior leadership.
  • Proven expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and change management within rapidly evolving businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and coach leaders on people strategy and development.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience using people analytics to navigate complex people issues.
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot as needed.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, performance management systems, and other HR tools; experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus.
  • Experience working in tech, SaaS, or start-up environments is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base pay range $150,000–$210,000 USD.
  • Competitive base salary with opportunities for bonuses, commissions, variable pay (OTE), and potential equity.
