Description

  • Partner closely with product, engineering, data, and design teams to define and deliver features that meet real user needs.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, simple user flows and product experiences.
  • Design solutions that optimize for strong user and business outcomes.
  • Lead design projects with significant scope and complexity from vision through execution.
  • Build trust and collaboration across cross-functional teams while raising the design quality bar.
  • Lead design reviews and improve how feedback is gathered and decisions are made.
  • Mentor and push other designers to strengthen craft and clarity.
  • Help shape design strategy for the fintech product area.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with mastery of the full 0-1 product development process.
  • Experience spanning product planning, discovery, concepts, build-ready designs, and prototypes.
  • Extensive experience in FinTech, with a focus on spend management, card issuing, bill payment, insights, or similar areas.
  • Strong UX foundation and experience building net-new products.
  • Strong visual, interaction, and UX design craft with a focus on simplicity, utility, and delight.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders in partnership with PMs, engineers, data teams, and executives.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, design systems, and emerging AI tools like Pencil or Cursor.
  • Clear communication and storytelling skills with the ability to explain design decisions and rationale.
  • Strategic influence and proven experience shaping design strategy.
  • A portfolio is required, including a password if applicable.
