Description

  • Own and enforce DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and related controls.
  • Integrate automated security tooling into development workflows and reduce manual security gates.
  • Partner with development teams on secure code reviews and threat modeling.
  • Drive vulnerability identification, triage, and remediation across infrastructure and applications.
  • Manage the security tooling stack and maintain a risk register with remediation SLA tracking.
  • Lead or coordinate internal and external penetration testing cycles and manage crowd testing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response playbook and support incident investigations.
  • Support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other data protection frameworks.
  • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and developer security training.
  • Act as the primary security subject matter expert for the engineering organization and mentor developers on secure coding practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, application security, or security engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience managing security in software development environments, not just operations or infrastructure.
  • Strong development background with proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Go, Java, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD security tooling, including SAST/DAST/SCA integration and secrets management.
  • Experience with cloud security on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with container security, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Penetration testing experience or a relevant certification such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN is preferred.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or AWS Security Specialty are preferred.
  • Experience at a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity product company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with insider threat, DLP, or endpoint security product domains is preferred.
