Description

  • Modify application source code to support architectural requirements, including authentication and Databricks integration changes.
  • Participate in Azure resource configuration reviews and prepare technical, network, cloud, and security architecture documentation.
  • Design and build PySpark/PySQL data ingestion pipelines for sources such as SAP and web scraping.
  • Develop scenario-based tests, address edge cases, and finalize code changes and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
  • Configure Databricks Unity Catalog permissions, OBO tokens, and service principals for Databricks AI and machine learning services.
  • Build and deploy Databricks Apps, send custom notifications through APIs and Teams webhooks, and work with Databricks Agents and Genie.
  • Develop FastAPI/React single-page applications with chat interfaces, Claude APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, guardrails, caching, and vision capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and secure full-stack applications across frontend, backend, middleware, data, and routing layers; document code using TDD, FDD, DFD, and system designs.
  • Create and automate Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Teams bots, web applications, and Databricks deployments, including linting and Snyk validation.
  • Work independently in short sprint cycles and collaborate with toxicologists and client project managers on concise requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Databricks, PySpark, and PySQL for data engineering.
  • Experience with Azure architecture, resource configuration, technical documentation, and cloud/security approvals.
  • Knowledge of Databricks Unity Catalog, OBO tokens, service principals, Databricks Apps, Agents, Genie, machine learning, and foundation models.
  • Experience building and deploying Databricks Apps using Visual Studio Code.
  • Proficiency with FastAPI, React, Claude models/APIs, Claude Code, and Genie.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, token economics, rule enforcement, AI safety guardrails, caching, graph-based dependency analysis, and Claude Vision.
  • Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, including Databricks AI Search indexes and hierarchical chunking.
  • Full-stack development and troubleshooting experience, including security remediation and technical documentation.
  • Experience creating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and implementing linting, Snyk scans, and environment configuration.
  • Immediate availability is required; candidates must provide total and relevant experience, current CTC, expected CTC, and notice period.
