Description

  • Provide personalized one-on-one SAT/ACT tutoring to high school students.
  • Tutor all sections of the exam being prepared for, including SAT and ACT sections.
  • Advise students on testing strategies and exam preparation materials.
  • Administer practice exams as part of the tutoring process.
  • Coach students on assessment techniques and test-taking best practices.
  • Support students in reaching competitive score goals through targeted instruction.
  • Work with at least 10 students, preferably 20 or more, as part of the weekly schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of SAT/ACT test prep tutoring experience required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen based in the United States and currently residing in the United States.
  • Availability to work with a minimum of 10 students, preferably 20+ students.
  • Must be available in the evenings and/or weekends.
  • Preference for tutors with several years of experience and proven measurable student outcomes.
  • Desired experience tutoring students targeting 1500+ SAT and/or 34+ ACT scores.
  • Preferred background includes having personally scored highly on the SAT and/or ACT.
  • Typical weekly hours are part-time equivalent.
  • This is a contractor, remote role.
