Description

  • Assist with customer invoicing, contract-based billing schedules, lien releases, pay applications, and vendor documentation.
  • Track receivables, support aging and collections follow-up, apply payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready accounts receivable records and ensure billing aligns with project progress.
  • Assist with tracking, validating, and calculating commissions and incentive payouts.
  • Support job cost tracking by ensuring expenses are properly coded and aligned with projects.
  • Assist with Schedule of Values (SOV) tracking and large project financial coordination.
  • Maintain accurate project-level financial data within accounting and inventory systems.
  • Respond to franchisee inquiries and provide guidance on QuickBooks Online and day-to-day financial processes.
  • Support inventory system usage, including basic troubleshooting, and communicate with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Follow established accounting workflows across AP, AR, and job costing, and escalate process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, including strong accounts payable experience.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience supporting accounts receivable, billing, or collections processes.
  • Exposure to job costing, project accounting, or construction-related financial processes.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day accounting tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional communication with franchisees and vendors.
  • Experience in construction, trades, or franchise environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with lien releases, pay applications, and SOV tracking (preferred).
  • Experience with commission tracking or incentive calculations (preferred).
  • Experience with inventory management systems such as SOS or similar (preferred).
