Description

  • Provide technical leadership for complex initiatives aligned with product and business objectives.
  • Lead system and component architecture design with engineers and architects.
  • Own technical execution from design through delivery, managing risks and dependencies.
  • Translate designs into scoped tasks, estimates, and implementation plans.
  • Design and evolve cloud-native systems using microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first patterns.
  • Set engineering standards through code reviews, CI/CD, testing, observability, and DevOps practices.
  • Drive technical debt management, performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
  • Mentor engineers and promote collaboration, ownership, continuous learning, and technical growth.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver required solutions.
  • Contribute production-ready code, resolve complex issues, and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of professional software development experience building complex, scalable business applications.
  • Expert proficiency with C#/.NET Core and Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Container Apps, App Services, Event Hubs, and API Management.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong database experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB, including performance tuning and scalability.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures, Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for full-stack applications.
  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Delta Lake experience preferred; strong communication, problem-solving, and technical influence skills required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Role is primarily sedentary desk/computer work; applicants must be based in eligible U.S. locations.
