Description

  • Contribute to system and component-level test architecture design with engineers and architects.
  • Own end-to-end technical execution of key quality initiatives from design through delivery.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives and influence platform-level technical decisions.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold CI/CD, testing, observability, and DevOps best practices.
  • Define performance benchmarks, SLOs, and acceptance thresholds with engineering and product stakeholders.
  • Drive resolution of performance regressions through root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Product, UX, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead complex incident response and technical root cause analysis, including on-call participation.
  • Mentor and support engineers to strengthen engineering judgment, collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Contribute production-ready code to critical components and complex problem areas while balancing short-term delivery with long-term technical health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 9–12 years of professional software development experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of software architecture and system design.
  • Expert-level proficiency in test automation on the Microsoft stack, including C# / .NET Core.
  • Experience with Angular, React, or Node.js applications from a testability and end-to-end validation perspective.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, cloud-based systems.
  • Proven experience writing test automation at every level to validate functionality and performance goals.
  • Strong database experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB, including performance tuning and scalability.
  • Extensive experience architecting and scaling test automation frameworks and applying TDD/BDD methodologies.
  • Expert-level proficiency across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and contract testing.
  • Proven ability to lead performance and load testing initiatives, define SLOs and benchmarks, and resolve regressions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Ability to drive change across complex technical environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as business needs require.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.
  • Role is sedentary and primarily desk/computer work.
