Description

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for accounts and account managers in an assigned territory.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals and explain how Elastic offerings address their needs.
  • Build and maintain value-based relationships across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Participate in territory planning and execution from initial discovery through technical win.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge to demonstrate Elastic solutions in sales meetings, meetups, and conferences.
  • Advise the sales team on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services effectively.
  • Onboard, educate, and enable partners and support them throughout sales cycles.
  • Create collateral and collaborate with internal teams to meet individual client needs.
  • Represent customer and community feedback to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Continuously improve sales and technical skills through self-directed learning and company development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Track record of success in a technical presales role within the enterprise sector.
  • Experience selling and implementing technology strong enough to earn customer trust.
  • Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in customer relations and solution architecture to address goals and business challenges.
  • Ability to influence teams and persuade others to adopt ideas, technologies, or architectural patterns.
  • Ability to inspire groups, both large and small.
  • Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
  • Curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset.
  • Experience with partner enablement or sales support is preferred.
