Description

  • Develop, maintain, and support software that connects content creation with high-scale documentation delivery.
  • Build and support the documentation platform, tooling, and pipelines used across the Elastic ecosystem.
  • Work in a multi-language environment, including C#/.NET, across a range of technologies.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable deployment patterns and processes.
  • Plan and design solutions for documentation systems and workflows.
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding and emerging tools to improve engineering efficiency and automation.
  • Maintain a strong focus on usability and developer experience for documentation platforms.
  • Lead efforts to redefine how technical documentation is authored and delivered.
  • Support and improve systems and processes in a distributed, global team environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of recent software engineering experience.
  • Proven experience building, releasing, supporting, and maintaining software products for a broad user base.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C#.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted coding and interest in integrating these tools into the modern development lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices, complex architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Strong focus on usability and developer experience.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think clearly, work independently, and collaborate effectively across a remote, global team.
  • Interest in technology and a willingness to work across different stacks and projects.
  • Prior experience with Elastic products is beneficial but not essential.
