Description

  • Work directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects to gather requirements, negotiate priorities, and clarify product needs.
  • Build, socialize, and align a roadmap for core context engineering capabilities on top of Elastic-powered retrieval and relevance for AI agents.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the AI agent market, major players, trends, and strategic implications for the business.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to define benchmarking and evaluation strategies for agent capabilities.
  • Collaborate with design to create user experiences that help agents show and refine context as they work.
  • Serve as the product expert for Agent Builder and evangelize capabilities through blog posts, open source projects, and other content.
  • Work with a broad ecosystem of AI partners, including cloud service providers and community developers.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across a matrixed organization to deliver a fast-moving product strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
  • Proven track record of leading sophisticated, data-intensive products from inception through launch and iterative growth.
  • Deep technical understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and context engineering.
  • Experience working closely with engineers and data scientists to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to move fast, learn from experiments and tests, and use AI tools to accelerate work and improve decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across a matrixed organization, align multiple stakeholders, and drive execution in a remote-first environment.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
  • Passion for industry trends and solving real-world customer problems, with an advocate mindset for developers and users.
  • Experience engaging with enterprise customers, partners, or hyperscalers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft is preferred.
