Description

  • Work directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects to gather requirements and refine product priorities.
  • Build, socialize, and align the roadmap for core context engineering capabilities on Elastic-powered retrieval and relevance for AI agents.
  • Develop the strategy for benchmarking and evaluating agent capabilities in collaboration with data science and engineering teams.
  • Work with design to create user experiences that improve how agents show and refine context as they work.
  • Track the AI agent market, including major players and trends, and assess how they affect product strategy.
  • Serve as the product expert and evangelize Agent Builder through blog posts, open source projects, and other content.
  • Partner with a broad ecosystem of AI stakeholders, including cloud service providers and community developers.
  • Lead cross-functional execution and influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, data-intensive products from inception through launch and iterative growth.
  • Deep technical understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and context engineering.
  • Comfort working closely with engineers and data scientists to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to move quickly, learn from experiments and tests, and use AI tools to accelerate decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across a matrixed organization and align multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Passion for industry trends and real-world customer problems, with an advocate mindset for developers.
  • Experience with enterprise, cloud infrastructure, or platform products is required; solution delivery experience is also accepted.
  • Experience working with hyperscalers or major cloud providers such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft is preferred.

  • Typical starting salary range: €102,700 to €162,500 EUR.
  • Base salary compensation with no variable compensation component.
