Description

  • Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as their advocate and coach throughout the engagement.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders at multiple levels and adapt messaging to different audiences.
  • Learn each client’s business, environment, objectives, and challenges to provide effective guidance and support.
  • Coach customer and partner teams on agile delivery, execution improvements, prioritization, and roadmap practices.
  • Apply product management judgment to model strong product owner behavior and keep the end user first.
  • Prepare, manage, and communicate project plans, dependencies, scope, change requests, risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Lead meetings, create meeting notes and supporting materials, and keep project work moving efficiently.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery to ensure the Egen team meets expectations and adjusts approach when needed.
  • Own project budget management in coordination with Sales partners.
  • Support sales and account growth by helping source resources, writing SOWs, and participating in contract redlines and MSA reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects and teams of varying sizes, locations, and skill levels.
  • Experience in professional services or client delivery in a hands-on, client-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a technology-related field.
  • Experience working with product companies and operating both strategically and in the details.
  • Experience in both product management and project management, with an understanding of product manager and product owner responsibilities.
  • Background in engineering, software architecture, product management, or delivery is preferred.
  • Training in project management and agile disciplines, either self-taught or formal, is required.
  • Experience with agile disciplines, software development methodologies, and agile delivery tools/administration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use illustrations, words, and diagrams/workflows to convey information.
  • Preferred certifications or training include CSM, PMP, PMI, or similar project management credentials.
  • Must be located in the Eastern or Central U.S. to align with client schedules and East Coast business hours.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and potentially timeshift as needed for project demands.
