Description

  • Reverse engineer structured finance transactions and set up deal waterfalls for Consumer Unsecured, Mortgages, Student Loans, Private Credit, and other asset classes.
  • Use offering memoranda, supporting documents, cashflow tieout packages, deal documents, and trustee reports to build accurate deal data and projections.
  • Partner closely with Integration, QA, Data Engineering, and quantitative analysts to ensure valid cashflow projections and successful deal onboarding.
  • Support the maintenance of securitized deals and the ongoing accuracy of cashflow models and related data.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and productize solutions for internal use and customer offerings.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance data quality using a variety of technologies.
  • Analyze financial statements, investor reports, securitization trustee reports, and loan-level data to identify key metrics and transaction details.
  • Communicate findings, analysis, and recommendations internally and with clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in structured finance reverse engineering.
  • Proficiency in cashflow modeling of complex deal structures, with a focus on Private Credit transactions.
  • Strong understanding of ABS, RMBS, Private Credit, Structured Finance, and Mortgage markets.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid quantitative skills and experience modeling deal waterfalls.
  • Ability to interpret complex deal documentation and extract relevant data and concepts.
  • Experience analyzing cashflow statements, investor reports, and securitization trustee reports.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or SQL for ad hoc data analysis, or willingness and ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple threads of work.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and clients.
