Description

  • Develop Dutchie’s ecommerce platforms using React, TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, and Styled Components.
  • Design, develop, and ship new customer-facing features in partnership with Product and Design.
  • Own the work from discovery through deployment and iteration.
  • Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility across web and mobile.
  • Improve code quality, developer experience, and customer outcomes by applying modern frontend best practices.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and design throughout the development process.
  • Stay current with modern frontend technologies in the React ecosystem.
  • Deliver high-quality experiences for dispensaries and their consumers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of web/software development experience.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React, TypeScript, and general software best practices.
  • Clean, tested, organized, and elegant code.
  • Ability to proactively drive projects from start to finish with relevant stakeholders.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent shipping.
  • Preferred: experience building software in e-commerce, cannabis, or regulatory industries.
  • Preferred: familiarity with bleeding-edge technology.
  • Preferred: regular contributions to open-source projects.
  • Preferred: experience working in a distributed team or remote environment.

Benefits

  • Starting salary of $149,000 - $201,000.
