Description

  • Partner with Product, Data, Engineering, and Design leaders to shape the product roadmap and execution for the new AI-first division.
  • Build reliable, efficient, and scalable data foundations, tools, and processes to support long-term AI/ML growth.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify the highest-impact opportunities and influence product roadmaps and strategies.
  • Perform exploratory and deep-dive analyses to understand user workflows and engagement patterns across AI features.
  • Develop hypotheses and design and execute experiments with rigor and efficient data techniques.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for the business through verbal and written communication.
  • Prioritize the most important work for the area you own and focus on the highest-leverage problems.
  • Contribute to a culture of strong technical ownership and help evolve the data science working model.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior executives, to rapidly execute and iterate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience using data-driven analysis to influence product roadmaps and business decisions, preferably in a tech company.
  • Proven ability to work independently, drive measurable business impact, and engage stakeholders with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming/scripting languages.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and common analytical techniques such as regression and decision trees.
  • Ability to provide data insights and recommendations for 0→1 products even when sample sizes are small.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience in startups or building 0→1 products.
  • Preferred: expertise in using data to inform AI/ML product development.
  • Preferred: background in SaaS product.

Benefits

  • Canada pay range of $162,400 to $219,600 CAD.
