Description

  • Lead the product design team in delivering best-in-class product experiences.
  • Balance urgency with a high quality bar for customers and the broader Dropbox organization.
  • Craft and communicate a long-term design strategy and vision.
  • Lead the design process from problem definition through design implementation.
  • Partner with product, engineering, research, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to define and execute high-impact products.
  • Work closely with design leadership to ensure a cohesive customer experience across all products.
  • Build and lead a team of best-in-class designers who move quickly in ambiguous environments.
  • Foster a healthy, collaborative culture aligned with Dropbox’s values.
  • Continue developing Dropbox as one of the best places to work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience leading or managing a design team.
  • A portfolio of relevant design work that demonstrates shipping successful products customers love.
  • A customer-centered approach to designing products for people.
  • Hands-on, self-starter leadership with high ownership and the ability to think big while diving deep.
  • Deep experience working with product managers, engineering, and marketing to drive vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Comfort working across a wide range of responsibilities at the same time.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach to working with others.
  • Experience with both scaled SaaS products and pre-PMF or 0→1 efforts (preferred).
  • Experience leading the integration of generative design tools, LLMs, and computational design methodologies into creative workflows (preferred).

Benefits

  • Canada pay range of $216,800 to $293,300 CAD.
