Description

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for safety-critical software, services, and platform infrastructure.
  • Define the roadmap and long-term vision across aircraft, onboard software, cloud services, operational tooling, and DoorDash platform integrations.
  • Integrate drone delivery into the DoorDash marketplace from merchant readiness through dispatch, routing, delivery, and completion.
  • Lead the autonomy product roadmap across mission planning, path planning, contingency handling, remote assistance, and related behaviors.
  • Define the roadmap from one-operator/one-aircraft operations to multi-aircraft autonomy and fleet orchestration.
  • Build UTM and airspace-management capabilities including deconfliction, authorization, conformance monitoring, and interoperability.
  • Lead standards compliance efforts and participate in ASTM standards-development activities.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into reusable software, data, workflow, and configuration capabilities.
  • Make build, buy, and partner decisions across technology providers, data sources, autonomy components, and infrastructure.
  • Define system-level success metrics and connect technical investment to operational and business outcomes.
  • Shape the technical organization by identifying needed capabilities and partnering on roles and talent gaps.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management, technical product leadership, systems leadership, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in autonomous systems, robotics, UAS, aviation technology, safety-critical systems, or another regulated operating environment.
  • Experience taking technically complex products from concept or prototype through validation, deployment, and operational scale.
  • Experience owning products across multiple layers of a technology stack, including embedded software, cloud services, APIs, data infrastructure, operational applications, and hardware integration.
  • Strong technical fluency in autonomous-system concepts such as mission planning, path planning, motion planning, perception, localization, guidance and control, simulation, telemetry, and command and control.
  • Experience defining product strategy and architecture for distributed, real-time, or mission-critical systems.
  • Working knowledge of UTM, airspace-management systems, geospatial data, flight-planning services, and conformance monitoring.
  • Experience operating in FAA-regulated environments, including familiarity with Part 107, Part 135, Part 108, Part 146, BVLOS approvals, UTM or USS services, and evolving autonomous-flight regulations.
  • Experience designing or scaling human-supervised autonomy, remote operations, multi-vehicle systems, fleet orchestration, or m:N operating models.
  • Deep credibility in standards development organizations and familiarity with ASTM standards such as F3201, F3548, and F3411 (preferred).
