Description

  • Identify and solve the root causes of customer friction to reduce defects and improve customer experience at scale.
  • Analyze customer support and operational data to uncover trends, quantify impact, and determine the scope of issues.
  • Design and implement solutions that prevent problems before they occur.
  • Synthesize customer insights and advocate for the voice of the customer in strategic decisions.
  • Set direction and drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering.
  • Work directly with internal and external partners to execute short- and long-term plans.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous, undefined opportunities and create playbooks where none exist.
  • Drive problems from identification through resolution with strong ownership.
  • Use data to form hypotheses, inform decisions, and move forward when information is directionally sufficient.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting.
  • Direct management experience is preferred.
  • High-growth startup experience, including scaling a business from 0 to 1, is preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional workstreams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability with the capacity to synthesize complex datasets into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced SQL experience is strongly preferred.
  • Deep customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance customer, merchant, Dasher, and business needs.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity with limited direction and a bias toward execution.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to scale impact and improve efficiency is preferred.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong cross-functional relationships.
