Description

  • Produce well-designed, testable, and efficient code using software development best practices.
  • Integrate with and consume data from backend services and databases.
  • Build web applications using PHP on the backend and JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 on the frontend.
  • Contribute to new product ideation and implementation as well as feature development for existing products.
  • Collaborate with teammates through code reviews, technical documentation, and constructive design feedback.
  • Become a subject matter expert on DomainTools’ customer-facing products and services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of modern web application development experience.
  • Experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented PHP 7+ programming.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES7+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Deep understanding of React 18+ and Redux.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing using PHPUnit and Jest.
  • Demonstrable experience building and consuming APIs.
  • Proficiency with Git and other version control systems.
  • Experience with Docker and container technologies.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Babel, Webpack, and ESLint configuration.
  • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes and other orchestration platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience with user acceptance and end-to-end testing tools such as TestCafe or Playwright.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Preferred: Experience with UX design concepts and agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
