Description

  • Design, build and operate container platforms on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE or equivalent), including autoscaling, policies and security.
  • Scale infrastructure to meet international growth across multi-region and multi-cloud environments.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using IaC and cloud-native tooling, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Improve performance, reliability and cost-efficiency through automation, tuning and autoscaling.
  • Design and implement solutions focused on uptime, redundancy and disaster recovery while coordinating with Security and Compliance teams.
  • Maintain monitoring, alerting and dashboards and respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation, driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering teams and participate in the development process to support mission-critical applications.
  • Troubleshoot and configure cloud compute and networking components and manage Linux-based infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP (experience with both is a plus).
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform (nice to have: CloudFormation or GCP Deployment Manager).
  • Experience provisioning, operating and running Kubernetes at scale (EKS/GKE or equivalent).
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting and dashboarding tools such as ELK, Coralogix or cloud-native services (CloudWatch, Cloud Logging/Monitoring).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Rundeck).
  • Strong Linux administration skills and command-line proficiency.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience working with Security/Compliance teams.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure alerts.
  • Nice to have: scripting/programming experience in Python, Go or Bash; DR/HA design, performance tuning and cost optimization.
