Description

  • Own the planning, design, implementation, and testing of mission-critical full-stack features.
  • Work across the product to shape and deliver end-to-end workflows that solve real customer problems.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, customer support, engineering, and leadership to define and execute feature work.
  • Build and improve AI-native product features, including agent workflows, order intake, product matching, and feedback-driven systems.
  • Develop commerce functionality such as storefronts, ordering, and buyer-seller workflow integrations.
  • Extend manufacturing, distribution, cultivation, and compliance capabilities across the platform.
  • Communicate progress proactively and raise risks early, especially around data integrity, compliance, and irreversible operations.
  • Write high-quality code with strong automated test coverage and perform manual QA where needed.
  • Create high-level technical specs for mid-to-large projects and help review peers' technical approaches.
  • Continuously improve AI tooling, prompts, context, rules, and workflows to increase output quality and reliability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience or equivalent depth in software engineering, with ownership of features end-to-end.
  • Comfort working in a modern stack including React, TypeScript, Apollo, GraphQL, Elixir/Phoenix, and Postgres.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding tools, with judgment on when they help and how to maintain quality.
  • Experience at early-stage startups.
  • Strong SQL/Postgres background for data-heavy, relationship-rich systems.
  • Ability to write clean, understandable code for complex logic and ship with effective test coverage.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience defining timelines, communicating progress, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Bonus: experience building complex SaaS products in logistics, supply chain, accounting, or similar domains.
  • Bonus: experience in cannabis or on distributed remote teams.
