Description

  • Design and develop vision control systems, equipment, and programming.
  • Write, implement, and debug PLC software.
  • Provide support for existing vision equipment globally.
  • Work with multiple assembly plants and integrators.
  • Own projects from technical specification through startup support.
  • Develop contingency and disaster recovery plans.
  • Create training documentation.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations, including LOTO protocols.
  • Communicate and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a controls or vision engineering role.
  • Proficiency with RSLogix5000, Studio5000, and FactoryTalk View Studio.
  • Knowledge of Keyence and Cognex cameras.
  • C or C++ programming capability.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented, positive attitude.
  • Creative, results-oriented, and attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to work long hours during installations when required.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 30-50%.
