Description

  • Manage assigned service requests, maintain accurate work records, and escalate issues under established procedures.
  • Monitor backup coverage and success, manage patching, and remediate critical device vulnerabilities.
  • Respond to monitoring alerts and maintain alert templates to support incident and problem resolution.
  • Administer tools such as Intune to improve endpoint consistency and reduce manual effort.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for repetitive tasks and service efficiency.
  • Communicate ticket progress, next steps, IT best practices, and service processes to customers.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on service processes, change control, and progress updates.
  • Apply change-control procedures, complete review documentation, and participate in change meetings.
  • Keep senior technical stakeholders and team members informed of job progress and improvement opportunities.
  • Create and update technical, process, solution, and end-user documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or managed services.
  • Experience working in an MSP environment.
  • Advanced administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience with networking, infrastructure, security operations, and security best practices.
  • Experience with endpoint management, device compliance, Intune or equivalent platforms, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
  • Ability to follow structured support processes, troubleshoot logically, manage competing priorities, and make sound escalation decisions.
  • Experience with Kaseya, Datto RMM, Datto Secure Edge, other RMM platforms, AI/automation, process improvement, or knowledge management (preferred).
