Description

  • Design and lead the integration architecture between ServiceNow and monitoring tools using REST APIs, webhooks, MID Server, or IntegrationHub.
  • Implement and configure ServiceNow Event Management and Major Incident Management for alert and critical incident handling.
  • Configure event rules, correlation, deduplication, and alert grouping based on topology or services.
  • Automate the conversion of events and alerts into incidents, including automatic prioritization and assignment.
  • Design and develop ServiceNow automations using Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and Playbooks.
  • Integrate observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, or Zabbix to centralize event management.
  • Ensure proper mapping between events, alerts, incidents, and CIs/services in the CMDB following the CSDM model.
  • Design operational dashboards and metrics to measure integration health and service status.
  • Lead end-to-end integration testing and coordinate deployments across environments.
  • Define quality, security, and error-handling standards for integrations.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and operating guides for support teams.
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to continuously improve incident management processes.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience working with ServiceNow.
  • Strong experience with Event Management and Major Incident Management.
  • Experience developing in ServiceNow with JavaScript.
  • Experience creating Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs.
  • Experience implementing Flow Designer and automations within ServiceNow.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external tools using REST APIs or webhooks.
  • Knowledge of CMDB and the CSDM model.
  • Experience working with JSON, APIs, and tools such as Postman.
  • Experience integrating monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, or Zabbix.
  • Experience designing integration architectures and handling events.
  • Spanish language proficiency and availability to work in Ecuadorian time (UTC-5).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is desirable.
  • ITIL 4 certification is desirable.
  • ServiceNow CIS – ITSM is desirable.
  • ServiceNow CIS – Event Management is desirable.
  • Micro-certifications in Predictive Intelligence, AIOps, or Now Assist are desirable.
