Description

  • Define and execute the multi-year strategy for the Global Capability Centre as a core global delivery hub.
  • Lead the GCC operating model, governance cadence, reporting structure, and performance framework.
  • Design and build the GCC organisational structure, including craft leads, people managers, and operational roles.
  • Set goals, capability standards, performance metrics, and review rhythms across GCC functions.
  • Provide senior technical direction and uphold engineering and delivery standards across the centre.
  • Govern technical assessments, calibrations, and capability frameworks for hiring and team development.
  • Own GCC hiring quality, including sourcing, screening rigor, and technical assessments.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Regional Resource Managers, and leadership teams on workforce planning and talent pooling.
  • Ensure delivery readiness, operational excellence, and predictable performance across global regions.
  • Build an engaged, high-performance culture and support career pathways, leadership development, and skills growth.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of technology leadership experience, including 5+ years leading a GCC, delivery centre, or large-scale offshore hub of 80–200+ people.
  • Proven experience building and scaling teams, including designing organisational structures and hiring senior leadership.
  • Strong engineering or technical delivery background, such as Engineering Manager, Architect, or Technical Delivery Lead.
  • Experience improving technical maturity, delivery quality, and operational reliability.
  • Experience working in a matrix, integrated delivery model where influence and alignment are critical.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, QA, data, PM/BA, and operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across multi-client and multi-region delivery teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a partner-led model, such as DEPT® and Hexaware.
  • Preferred experience in a digital agency or consulting environment, particularly in global or matrixed delivery structures.
  • Preferred familiarity with modern engineering practices, automation, cloud environments, and QA acceleration.
  • Preferred exposure to AI-assisted QA or productivity-enhancing engineering tools.
