Description

  • Oversee and support manufacturing, production, and supply chain operations.
  • Manage production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow.
  • Optimize workflows, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and internal quality and safety policies.
  • Monitor KPIs for production output, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance.
  • Support supplier performance management and supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Lead, mentor, and support teams, supervisors, planners, and engineers.
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-term operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production management, supply chain management or planning, procurement or strategic sourcing, logistics or warehousing, industrial or process engineering, or quality engineering or management.
  • Strong understanding of Australian manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, or MES systems.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.
