Description

  • Support delivery of the Africa region clients and markets plan and track progress against agreed initiatives.
  • Assist with the rollout of firm-wide sector and key client programs across the region.
  • Increase internal and external brand awareness through regional marketing activity and firm-wide campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain regional collateral, including the Africa brochure, web pages, and leadership biographies.
  • Support preparation and delivery of Africa Region Meetings and Conventions, including agenda materials, logistics, and speaker coordination.
  • Coordinate regional updates across the region’s and global social media platforms.
  • Assist with annual directory and awards submissions, including Chambers Africa-wide and the African Legal Awards.
  • Support coordination of pan-African pitches and proposals, including gathering input from referral firms.
  • Liaise with country BD leads to gather input and coordinate regional and global campaigns.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with colleagues across the region.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, or communications, ideally in professional services or a legal environment.
  • Strong written and organisational skills.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple offices or jurisdictions.
  • Strong administration background.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; French is a considerable advantage.
  • A passion for providing data-driven insight.
  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and committed to accuracy, efficiency, and process discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and suggest practical solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting demands, and handle ad hoc requests alongside critical deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to work proactively without daily supervision.
  • Professional services firm experience is an asset.
