Description

  • Develop pricing models and commercial recommendations using waste profiles, vendor costs, transportation needs, and margin targets.
  • Analyze customer profitability and cost-to-serve to drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Support new business opportunities, renewals, and customized hazardous waste programs.
  • Identify rightsizing opportunities across volumes, service levels, and disposal pathways.
  • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities and translate operational data into financial insights.
  • Participate in customer discussions and clearly explain pricing, disposal options, and cost drivers.
  • Validate assumptions around waste profiles, volumes, and vendor costs.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts on hazardous waste pricing, disposal pathways, and TSDF capabilities.
  • Monitor vendor costs, market trends, and regulatory changes to ensure competitive, compliant pricing.
  • Support risk management, audits, and financial reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or CA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, business partnering, or corporate finance.
  • Direct industry experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or commercial roles in the waste industry.
  • Strong understanding of hazardous waste profiles, waste characterization, treatment and disposal pathways, and processing complexity.
  • Strong financial skills in profitability analysis, cost-to-serve, pricing, forecasting, and margin management.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Experience with vendor management, TSDFs, waste logistics, customer-facing pricing discussions, contract support, project management, or operational improvement initiatives (preferred).
